Dheven Dharmalingam

Dheven has a deep understanding of how to build and execute on a strategy in a socially responsible manner. He has over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles that include Audit Partner, CFO, CEO and entrepreneur. He is an inspiring and motivational leader with exceptional people skills and the ability and passion to motivate his peers, and enthuse the people he manages. He has a proven track record of driving a culture of continuous improvement whilst delivering on key operational targets. Dheven has a breadth of international exposure, having conducted business in most Southern African countries, Mauritius, Australia, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Holland, and China.

Arif Hussain

Arif has broad exposure to the ICT industry across Africa and Middle East since 1998, having been involved with entities across the fibre-optic, GSM, wireless broadband, satellite signal distribution, fixed-line and ISP domains. He possesses in-depth financial experience at strategic and operational levels, having initiated and overseen large-scale telecommunications projects from concept to commercial service, notably in the  open-access fibre-optic network, and mobile telecommunications sectors. Arif is also actively involved in developing innovative new funding models for the entrepreneurial sector, as part of which he sits on the Advisory Board of Aurik, SA’s leading business accelerator, and the Board of Enactus South Africa, an international NPO involving in promoting sustainable entrepreneurship at university level.

Derrick Kaufmann

Derrick is a seasoned Commercial Legal Practitioner, Trusted Advisor and Entrepreneur. He has over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of Commercial Law and Corporate Finance, which includes special knowledge of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate and Commercial Transactional Advice, Fund Raising, Commercial Litigation and the Corporate Regulatory Environments.  Derrick has advised large listed clients on debt restructuring, rights issues, securitisation, fund raising, main board listings and reverse listings. Derrick is an inspiring leader that always finds “out of the box” solutions to commercial, transactional and legal issues.

Nilay Naik

Nilay has been extensively involved in conceptualizing start-ups, implementing and managing businesses in the Telecommunications, Information Systems, and Financial Services industries.  IT Outsourcing, ERP Systems implementation, Business Process Outsourcing, Process Re-engineering, and Financial and Information Systems Risk Management, Financial Management and large scale Program Management form part of the experience gained over the last 22 years. He has wide global business exposure, having worked in most Southern African countries, Nigeria, Australia, Iran, Dubai, UK and USA.
